Money, Money, Money!
For my second grade friends this week I created this fun
CCSS Practice Pack Featuring Money
in honor up upcoming Presidents Day.
I got this fun US Currency clip art set from my friend Michelle, The 3AM Teacher
and got to work...
This 16 page Common Core Aligned Practice with Money for 2nd Grade
addresses the following CCSS:
MD.2.8NBT.2.2
NBT.2.8
The skills included are:
identifying coins and values
counting coins with values under and over a dollar
identifying coins necessary to make various amounts
identifying coins values in word form
and different ways to represent various amounts.
While I was as it working on money,
I created this coordinate graphing activity that is great for
practice, partner work, or math centers.

Your new math unit is fantastic! My 2nd graders need practice in this area especially counting groups of coins.
